Discovery Travel provides self-guided walking, hiking and cycling holidays in a wide range of specially selected destinations throughout the UK and Europe for the independent traveller. This means that you have the independence to start a trip on any day to suit you, to travel at your own pace, to visit places of interest and do all the things you want to do when you want to do them.
On a Discovery Travel holiday, you will usually stay in a different village or small town every night, allowing you to sample a variety of places in your chosen area. However, if you wish to add one or more rest days to any walking holiday itinerary this is easily done and we can often extend or reduce the number of walking days as well, to suit your needs and level of fitness.
We provide all the essential services for your walking holiday: we book you into carefully selected, high standard, accommodation; we move your luggage daily from one accommodation to the next; we provide you with the maps, route details and local information you need for your chosen route; and we ensure that you have access to emergency support at all times. We can also advise and help with your travel arrangements if required.
